Luxury Ground Transportation Terms · Effective November 4, 2026
1. Prearranged service only
All transportation provided by Summit Transportation & Protection LLC (“Summit”) is prearranged by reservation and confirmed by Summit. Summit does not accept street hails or on-demand requests. A reservation is confirmed only when Summit issues a written confirmation.
2. Rates and payment
All-inclusive pricing. Summit's pricing is all inclusive. The price you see when booking or when quoted is the price you pay. Gratuity and the service charge are already included, and there are no hidden fees. Transportation is not subject to sales tax.
Protection services. Executive protection and other protection services are quoted separately and are subject to Florida sales tax. Tax is charged at the rate for the county where the protection is performed, and is shown as its own line on your quote, payment page and invoice.
When payment is due. All times are Eastern time. When you book online:
- When you request a trip, we place a hold on your card for the full trip price. Nothing is charged at that time.
- Your card is charged only when Summit confirms the trip.
- If Summit declines or cannot accept the trip, the hold is released and you are not charged.
- Trips less than 3 hours away cannot be booked online. Please call 561-612-8835.
House accounts, partners and invoiced clients are billed under their own account terms instead.
Hourly service. Hourly bookings have a minimum of 3 hours in an SUV and 4 hours in a Sprinter, and time is booked in 15-minute increments. You pay for the full time booked, even if the trip ends early. Time beyond your booking is billed at the same hourly rate in 15-minute increments. House accounts and partners are billed for actual time used, with the same minimum. When you book by card, your card is saved securely with our payment processor, and you authorize Summit to charge it after the trip for overtime, wait time, tolls and parking, and for late-cancellation or no-show charges as described in these Terms.
Tolls and parking. Tolls and parking are billed at cost.
Payment methods. Card payments are processed by Stripe; Summit never sees or stores your full card number. Quotes and invoices may also be paid by ACH, Zelle or check as stated on them.
3. Cancellation
Standard transfers may be cancelled without charge up to 24 hours before scheduled pickup; later cancellations and no-shows are billed in full. If you cancel a confirmed trip more than 24 hours before pickup, your payment is refunded in full. If Summit declines or cannot accept a trip, any hold on your card is released. Events, multi-vehicle reservations and protection engagements carry the cancellation terms stated in their confirmation or quote.
4. Rider conduct
Riders must wear seat belts, may not smoke or vape, may not carry open containers of alcohol in violation of law, and must treat personnel and vehicles with respect. Summit may terminate service without refund for unsafe, unlawful or abusive conduct. Riders are responsible for damage or excessive cleaning.
5. Zero-tolerance policy (§ 627.748(10), Fla. Stat.)
Summit maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the use of drugs or alcohol by any chauffeur or protection personnel while providing services or while logged in to accept assignments. Personnel are also prohibited from consuming alcohol within eight hours before any assignment. A rider who suspects impairment should end the trip safely and immediately report it as described below. Summit will suspend the individual pending investigation.
6. Rider complaint procedure
Report any concern, including suspected impairment, by calling or texting 561.612.8835 or emailing info@summittpgroup.com with the date, time, pickup location and vehicle or chauffeur description. Summit acknowledges complaints within one business day and investigates every report.
7. In-vehicle recording
Vehicles may be equipped with dash cameras and disclosed cabin recording for safety. By riding, you consent to such recording as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Insurance and liability
Summit maintains the commercial automobile and liability insurance required by § 627.748, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 493, Florida Statutes. Summit is not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, flight changes, acts of third parties or events beyond its control, and is not responsible for items left in vehicles, though we will make reasonable efforts to return them.
9. Protection services
Executive protection and protective transportation are provided under a separate written services agreement. Protection personnel do not detain persons and act within Summit's Weapons and Use-of-Force Addendum and Florida law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law. Venue for any dispute lies in Palm Beach County, Florida.
11. Portal accounts
Clients, vendors and partners who use the Summit portal are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for the accuracy of information and documents they upload. Electronic signatures made through the portal are binding under the federal ESIGN Act and § 668.50, Florida Statutes.
