Frequently Asked Questions

What areas does Summit serve?+

Palm Beach County, Martin County and St. Lucie County, including Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Wellington, Jupiter, Stuart, Palm City, Hobe Sound, Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce. Transfers to Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Orlando airports are scheduled daily.

Is Summit a rideshare or taxi service?+

No. Summit is a prearranged luxury ground transportation and licensed executive protection company. We do not accept street hails or on-demand app requests. Every reservation is confirmed by our team.

How far in advance should I book?+

Airport and point-to-point transfers can usually be confirmed with 24 hours' notice; same-day requests are accommodated when possible. Events, multi-vehicle logistics and protection details benefit from a week or more.

What vehicles are in the Summit fleet?+

Late-model black luxury SUVs (GMC Yukon Denali class) seating up to six passengers, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter executive van for groups. All vehicles are detailed before every service.

Are your chauffeurs and protection agents licensed and insured?+

Yes. Summit operates under Florida Statute 627.748 as a luxury ground transportation network company and under Chapter 493 as a Class B security agency. Chauffeurs are background-screened and MVR-checked; protection agents hold Class D and, where armed, Class G licenses. Commercial auto and liability coverage is in force on every ride.

Are there any hidden fees or service charges?+

No! Summit's pricing is all inclusive. The price you see when booking or when quoted is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees that surprise you when you get your bill. Protection services are quoted separately and are subject to Florida sales tax.

What is your cancellation policy?+

Standard transfers may be cancelled without charge up to 24 hours before pickup. Events, multi-vehicle bookings and protection details have longer windows set out in your confirmation.

Can I request the same chauffeur each time?+

Yes. Corporate and household accounts can designate preferred chauffeurs, and we honor the request whenever that chauffeur is available.

How do you protect my privacy?+

Client identity, travel details and personal information are protected without exception. Chauffeurs and agents sign confidentiality agreements, schedules are shared on a need-to-know basis, and we will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before discussing a sensitive engagement.

Do you offer armed protection?+

Yes, through Class G licensed agents operating under Summit's Weapons and Use-of-Force Addendum, which is stricter than Florida law at every point. Armed service is arranged through our executive protection division.
