A licensed Florida Class B security agency
Summit Transportation & Protection operates its protection division as a Florida Class B security agency under Chapter 493, Florida Statutes. Agents hold Class D security officer licenses, and armed agents hold the Class G statewide firearm license with current annual requalification. Our Weapons and Use-of-Force Addendum is stricter than the statute at every point.
What an executive protection engagement includes
Threat and vulnerability assessment. Advance work on venues, routes and residences. A written protective plan. Close protection by agents trained in protective formations, emergency medical response and de-escalation. Secure transportation in Summit's own fleet, so the detail and the vehicle answer to one chain of command.
Details range from a single agent for a dinner in Palm Beach to multi-agent, multi-vehicle movements for a visiting principal across South Florida.
Event and venue security
Estate events, galas, product launches and board meetings. Summit provides access control, protective presence and a discreet response capability that fits the tone of a luxury event.
